I’m Emma. I work with people and organisations at moments of pressure, change, and transition, when performance matters, identity is shifting, and the old ways of coping no longer work.
My background spans elite sport, leadership development, research, and applied psychology. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with Olympic and Paralympic athletes, professional players, coaches, senior leaders, and young people navigating high-expectation environments. The common thread across all of that work is helping people adapt well and not just perform, but sustain performance without losing themselves in the process. I’m available for; Podcast guest appearances, keynote speaking and workshops, organisational consultancy, coaching and education for young girls and youth athletes
If you’d like to explore working together, get in touch to start the conversation.

I hold a PhD in career transition and psychological wellbeing, and my research has shaped national and European-level initiatives on mental health, help-seeking, and dual careers in sport. I’ve led and contributed to EU Erasmus+ projects, secured competitive research funding, and published in peer-reviewed journals, but my focus has always been on making research usable in real life.
Alongside my research, I’m an experienced speaker, facilitator, and coach. I speak to organisations about change, wellbeing, identity, and sustainable performance, bringing together insight from elite sport and leadership with honesty, warmth, and practical clarity. My sessions are known for being engaging, human, and grounded. I balance evidence with real-world experience.
I also work closely with young athletes and young women, helping them build confidence, structure, and self-understanding in environments that often demand a lot before they’re ready. My coaching with girls focuses on developing skills for performance and wellbeing, not pressure or perfection. I have a passion for supporting them to grow into themselves, not away from themselves.
Whether I’m contributing to a podcast conversation, delivering a keynote, advising organisations, or coaching young people, my aim is the same: to help people make sense of what’s happening, build systems that support them, and move forward with clarity.
